Minca

Minca is a corregimiento in the district of Santa Marta, in the department of Magdalena, in northern Colombia. It is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, about 15 km from the city center. Minca is the ecological capital of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

Taganga

Taganga is a corregimiento of Santa Marta, in Magdalena. It has 3,000 inhabitants. It is made up of a town on the shores of the bay of the same name whose traditional activity has been fishing, although tourism has recently gained prominence.

Description

Day 1

Taganga corner of ecological sunsets

  • Tourists are picked up at the place of lodging (within the urban perimeter of Santa Marta, it can be the downtown area of Rodadero and Taganga) at approximately 07:30 AM (this varies if it is high or low season, consult advisors) They pick you up in minivans or tour buses.
  • At approximately 08:00 AM you will arrive in Taganga where you will have breakfast (basic breakfasts)
  • Then you leave by boat to Playa Grande where you will enjoy that beach from 09:00 AM to 11:30 AM approximately.

Capital Mincaecological

  • At 11:50 a.m. we will be back in Taganga, we will have lunch (regular lunches) and at 12:40 p.m. we will leave for Minca.
  • Travel time from Minca to Taganga is approximately 1 hour.
  • Arriving in Minca, there is a walk to the blue well of approximately 20 minutes.
  • You will bathe in the blue pool for about 1 hour.
  • They will be returning to Santa Marta at approximately 5:00 PM
