Buritaca

Description

We leave Santa Marta at 7:00 am heading to Buritaca with a journey of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, upon arrival we will get off at “El Rio Hostel”, an incredible place where a pleasant and friendly environment with nature prevails, where we can enjoy its captivating facilities and admire the marvelous landscapes while we taste a welcome cocktail.

Then they will provide us with some towed buoys for Tubing and we will start the journey from said lodge, immersing ourselves in a path surrounded by magnificent nature made up of a great variety of flora and fauna. During this walk of approximately 45 minutes we will also be able to witness howler monkeys and a number of typical birds of the region, then we will arrive at the Buritica River where we will have the option of descending to the mouth of the river through Tubing. o Sail in a kayak for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the point where the river and the sea meet and thus fully enjoy this great experience.

Then we go to have lunch at 2:00 pm in one of the typical restaurants of the place, the rest of the time you can continue enjoying the benefits that the Buritaca offers and finally we finish the adventure at 5:00 pm. approximately.
